Many Updates
In truly Leisurely fashion, I have waited until the New Year is three weeks started before unleashing a host of updates upon the website. Naps and other activities have drawn my attention away from the computer, and I can’t say I’m a bit sorry. After all, it's all Leisure! At last, I present a bunch of new material for your perusal. As always, please let me know if anything is weird and/or broken.
1) The 2004 calendar is here, with a couple of new holidays added to the mix: Oatmeal Cookie Day (thanks Julie!), and National Slacker Day.
2) Welcome to the Library. This is an archive of essays and other works relating to Leisure by our Agents and Friends, as well as links to relevant material on other sites. It will also eventually house our database, The Leisure Agency Recommends, which will point scholars to media with something to say about Leisure. I encourage you to contact me if you have any work that belongs in the Library! The more contributions, the better - as you will see, there is but one in-house article at the moment.
3) A number of other little tweaks and changes, none of which are all that important or noticeable: corrected and updated links, more accurate information, that sort of thing.
4) I am once again revving up the Agency’s engines for a recruitment drive! I have contacted several people who seem to embody the principles of Leisure, asking them if they would honor us with their presence here on the website. I encourage you to comment or e-mail me if you can point me towards any potential Agents, or if you're interested in becoming an Agent yourself. We can always use more helping hands!
