Silly Hat Day is predicated on the simple idea that wearing silly hats is fun. Silly outfits are great and certainly encouraged, but the hat literally soars above the silly outfit. It can be seen from a distance and above a crowd. It can be changed at a moment's notice, and it is oh so much fun! Silly hat wearers can recognize one another instantly and share a special bond amongst the normal folk.

Strangely, most people don't wear silly hats very often. We at the Agency thought that a holiday might help. On May 17, wear your warm-weather silly hats with pride! Suggestions: sombreros, beanie propellors, and beer hats.
