december 21: hibernation appreciation day

December 21st is the first day of winter to society at large. It usually passes without notice beyond a mention on the nightly weather report.

The Leisure Agency encourages you to observe this day by honoring our wise forest friends and symbolically "hibernating" all day in acknowlegement of the fact that during the cold dark months, it's best to take it slow, stay warm, and make sure you get enough rest to tackle the vicious elements.
