While some might question his status as a figure of Leisure due to his multiple psychological problems, grueling tour schedule and untimely "demise," we at the Agency feel that Elvis served up an indelible image of Leisure to a waiting America in a time when commerce, commerce, commerce was the name of the game. Hanky-panky! Cars! Music! A simple boy just wanting to rock out without the squares getting him down! And, of course, spangled jumpsuits! Let's face it, the man knew what Leisure was all about.

Today, we can honor his memory by having a taste of the lifestyle he promoted. Bust out your cocktail gear, put a long-playing record on the phonograph, grab your sweetie and boogie down. Extra points for being able to do the Bossa Nova with a drink in your hand.
